After you reserve your unit, a team member from Danbury Self Storage will contact you to confirm the details and schedule your move-in. You'll need to bring a valid photo ID, a payment method, and your own lock (or purchase one at our office during your move in). We'll walk you through the lease agreement and provide your gate access code.

Yes. Optional protection plans are available through SafeStore - ask our team for more information. You may also use your homeowner's or renter's insurance if it includes off-site storage. You must carry your own coverage or accept full responsibility for your stored items. Danbury Self Storage does not insure your items.
All three Danbury Self Storage locations offer the same core amenities, including drive-up access, gated entry, and 24/7 security cameras.
However, the main office is located at 10 Old Newtown Road - if you need to rent a unit in person, reserve a U-Haul truck, or purchase boxes and packing supplies, please visit that location directly. Our staff will be happy to assist you with anything you need.
