Are leases month-to-month?

Yes, all rentals are month-to-month for your convenience - no long term commitment required.

Do you charge a monthly deposit?

No, we don't charge any deposit, move-in fees, administrative fees, or other hidden costs!

What items can't be stored?

No perishables, flammables, cash, antiques, illegal items, or live animals. Residential or commercial activity is strictly prohibited.

Feel free to contact us with any specific questions you may have regarding what you would like to store in your unit.

What happens if I don't pay on time?

Your gate access will be disabled, and your unit will be overlocked until your balance is paid in full.

Will I get billing reminders?

If you've provided an email address, you'll receive payment reminders by email. We no longer mail physical monthly bills.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, we do! Our current special offers are always posted on our unit availability page. We also provide discounts for pre-paid rentals, and we will price match other storage facilities in Danbury if you find a better price somewhere else. If you're a college student, veteran, or senior, feel free to contact us directly to see if we have any current promotions available for you.

Can I access my unit after hours?

For the security of your belongings, our facilities are locked completely overnight. Gate access during the day is 6am-8:30pm, 7 days a week.

Are your facilities secure?

Yes! We have 24/7 video surveillance, key-code gated access, well-lit surroundings, and are staffed 7 days a week during normal business hours. Overnight, our facilities are locked with an additional second gate - all to ensure peace of mind that your belongings are protected.

Do I need to bring my own lock?

Yes. Locks are also available for purchase at our main office during your move-in.

What if I leave my unit unlocked?

Per the lease agreement, all tenants are required to keep their units locked during the rental period to protect the contents inside. You can use your own lock or purchase one from our office. If a unit is found unlocked, we reserve the right to secure it with one of our locks for safety reasons. A fee will apply, and the key will either be mailed to you or held at the office for pickup.

Are moving carts and dollies available?

Yes! They are available on-site for your convenience.

Can I switch unit sizes later?

Yes, subject to availability.

Can I store a vehicle?

Yes! We offer drive-up indoor units and outdoor parking for cars, RVs, motorcycles, boats, and other vehicles.

What are the move-out requirements?

Move out requirements are as follows:

  • Submit at least 20 days' notice by email

  • Empty your unit and leave it clean

  • Remove your lock

  • Confirm with our staff that you have completed move-out

If you don't remove your lock, you will continue to be charged rent until the lock is removed and your full move-out is confirmed with our staff.

Failure to fully remove your items or leave your unit clean upon move-out may result in a minimum of $250 cleaning fee, plus any additional disposal or hauling charges. This policy allows us to guarantee clean facilities for all of our customers.

How much notice is required before move-out?

We require at least 20 days' written notice, which can be submitted by email.

Will I get a refund if I move out mid-month?

No, refunds are not issued after the rent due date. Rent is typically due on the 1st of each month and is paid in advance—for example, a payment made on April 1st covers the full month of April. Some tenants have a different billing cycle based on their move-in date (anniversary billing), but rent is still paid one month in advance. Since our leases are month-to-month, if the unit is occupied at any time after the rent due date, the full month's rent is required—regardless of the move-out date.

Do you sell U-Haul supplies?

Yes! We sell boxes of all sizes, and a variety of moving supplies. You can call us to place your order over the phone, and we'll have everything ready for you to pick up at our office.

Do you rent trucks?

Yes! We offer U-Haul truck, van, and trailer rentals, along with a wide selection of moving supplies--all as a convenient service for our tenants and the local Danbury community. Whether you're moving locally or long distance, we can help you book a U-Haul reservation to or from anywhere in the U.S.

Are your storage units operated by U-Haul?

No, our storage facility is privately owned and locally operated. While we are proud to be a Top 100 Authorized U-Haul dealer in the U.S., our business remains completely independent. We offer U-Haul truck rentals as a convenience for our tenants and our Danbury community.
